I've just started to use iGoogle for my home page. You may already have something similar with Yahoo, but Google has so much more to offer. If you would like to get started, go to www.google.com/ig .
One of my favorites is the Alert feature (www.google.com/alerts). You can set up the alert to keep track of almost anything. You can set it to receive an email notification. Or, if you know how to set up RSS feeds, then it can go directly to your iGoogle page. Here are some ideas for "alerts":
- Create an alert for each of your top clients or customers. If anything comes up in a Google monitored service, you will be notified by email or RSS feed.
- This same thing will work for your competitors.
- If you are holding stock in a company, this "alert" service could give you a valuable "heads up".
