Everyone always asks if there is FREE support that is included along with their purchase of Timeslips. Nothing is ever REALLY FREE. In the case of Timeslips, a better way to say it is "the Timeslips support is included". What does that really mean and when does it apply?
When you make a new or upgrade purchase of Timeslips, Sage provides you with one, "free" technical support "incident" for 30 days. The 30 days starts when you are sent the Timeslips download and installation email. This free Timeslips support can be handy to use during Timeslips installation, if you encounter any problems. Here are some other Timeslips support options that Sage is offering:
You can now purchase Bundled Timeslips Support under the Business Care Plan. There are three different levels of support:
- Silver: 3 incident calls per year
- Gold: 6 incident calls per year
- Platinum: Unlimited support calls
Each level has a different price and it is based on your total number of Timeslips licenses. Another important aspect of the Business Care Plan is that in addition to the Timeslips technical support, you also are entitled to receive all new releases and updates at no addtional charge. What this means is that if you purchased the Timeslips Business Care Plan today, you would be getting the current version of Timeslips as well as the next Timeslips version that is released within the next 12 months. So, in addition to the Timeslips support, you are also getting the next version of Timeslips.
The newest addition to the Timeslips offerings is Timeslips Premium. This is the high-performance product running on an SQL-type database. It is sold by subscription only. The price includes unlimited technical support.
So, there you have it. These are all the technical support plans offered by Sage Timeslips.
Of course, you can still call or email me if you have unsupported Timeslips software or need help with issues that Sage Timeslips can't help with such us bill layouts and custom reporting. There is an hourly charge, but it still can be a very cost effective option.
